Work Experience-

Freelance Designer

August 2023 - Present

While looking to go back full time I have started to freelance (and waitress on the side) to keep myself busy! As well as to keep my designing sharp!

Currently I am working on redesigning a website! Click to learn more!

Experience Designer, Bank of America

July 2022 - August 2023

Worked on the redesign of Bank of America’s new account opening application pages. Including visual design, information architecture, content, research, and all areas of UX. Analyzed the current and future flow. Made sure all the different fields that were needed for deposits, card, and HELOC were correct and implemented. Was tasked to make sure all the updates needed were correct in all of the flows and made sure the original symbols are up to date. Assisted in creating over 160+ screens in desktop and mobile breakpoints on web. As well as working on the redesign of ACH flows.

Analyzed client data pertaining to credit card and deposit application experiences, resulting in the creation of 10 journey maps and personas. Successfully executed intern side projects aimed at improving research design strategies. Played a key role in translating complex research data into actionable insights for enhancing customer experience.

It takes a village to raise a child, and when the responsibility lands on one person, it can seem like an impossible task.

Parents raising a child on their own, known as solo parents, need a support system they can rely on as they make ends meet.

I was involved in various tasks for Solo Circle, such as conducting research, reaching out to the local community to observe and gain understanding, collaborating in building the physical prototype, conducting user testing, co-presenting, creating, filming, and editing the vision video, and providing assistance in decision-making.

Solo Circle was made in the span of 6 months.

Researcher, Saving the Bees

SCAD project, Summer 2020

As bees face a decline in population, people are looking for ways to make a difference from home. We reached out to bee farmers, vegans, educators, and other experts for advice on how to help. The study focused on finding the ideal experience to save these essential creatures.

I was involved in various tasks for Saving the Bees. I helped with creating and outreach for surveys, interviews, cultural probes (diary and moldboard), and our sensory cue. Then I helped collect the data and analyze it to provide our findings.

The Ideal Experience of Saving the Bees was made in the span of 3 months.

Loom is a space to create a digital legacy that feels as real as a physical heirloom. It is designed to spark the conversation of what we leave behind. Something that respects your terms. Something that can represent our users and their impact on others. Something that lasts.

——

In Loom, I served as co-lead, conducting various research including user testing, interviews, a/b testing, and cultural probes. Additionally, I co-presented, filmed, edited, and produced the vision video, and led meetings to make important decisions.

Loom was made in 3 months.
